Marilynn Brandenburger's garden and botanical paintings include flowers and plants of the Southeast as well as a new series on wildflowers of the northern Midwest. Marilynn began this new wildflower series when she was Artist-in-Residence at Michigan's Isle Royale National Park in summer 1997. Following another residency at Gratiot Lake in Michigan's Keweenaw Peninsula, she is currently expanding this series in watercolor and oil pastel.
