While working
in the New York area in the 1970’s, Al photographed the World
Trade Center while it was under construction in 1970, as well as
the newly completed towers in 1973 and 1974. His photographs capture
both the power that made these buildings architectural feats of
their time and some of the surrounding environment that characterized
the city 30 years ago. In light of recent events, these photographs
now have invaluable historical significance.
