Allen has photographed landscapes and landforms throughout North America. America’s national parks and preserves are a particular interest of his, especially in areas of the parks unaltered by man. Al works hard to capture a totally natural landscape, keeping human evidence, such as footprints in sand dunes, out of his photographs. By eliminating such distractions, Al’s photographs enables viewers to see the bold, inherent designs he has discovered in nature.
